Grant Finlayson

Grant Finlayson possesses extensive experience in mechanical engineering and maintenance within the drilling and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Maintenance Supervisor at Noble Drilling since October 2010, Grant previously held the role of Mechanical Supervisor at Pacific Drilling from October 2010 to April 2021, where responsibilities included preparing the Pacific Bora for drilling campaigns and providing technical support during maintenance programs across the fleet. Prior experience includes Chief Mechanic at Transocean, focusing on maintenance and repair of hydraulic and mechanical systems, and roles as a Field Service Engineer at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG and Finning (UK), where Grant oversaw engine installations, commissioning, and trained local mechanics.
