Brennan Lawler possesses extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Academics in Humanities at Noble Schools since July 2012. Over the years, Brennan has held various roles including Manager of Curriculum & Instruction and Assistant Principal of Instruction, where significant contributions included leading initiatives for the transition to Common Core State Standards and facilitating professional development for educators. As an AP Language & Composition Instructor, Brennan designed a College Board certified curriculum that resulted in the highest student performance in the Noble Network during the 2015-16 school year. Additional experience includes teaching U.S. & World History, serving as an Adjunct Professor at Relay Graduate School of Education, and advising new teachers through Teach For America. Brennan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in English Education at the University of Illinois Chicago, following a Master’s Degree from Relay Graduate School of Education and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Journalism and English from The University of Texas at Austin.
