Frits Verheggen

Frits Verheggen is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with a robust background in mechanical design and optimization processes. Currently employed at Nobleo Technology since December 2021, Frits previously worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific from March 2022 to July 2023. An impactful experience was gained during a master thesis at Holst Centre, focusing on the optimization of deposition processes for perovskite layers in X-ray detectors. Frits also completed an internship at The University of British Columbia, where the design of an automated 2D stage for optical fibers was created for TRIUMF, Canada's national particle accelerator centre. Additionally, a leadership role as Lead Engineer was held at Automotive Technology InMotion from September 2017 to September 2018. Frits holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Eindhoven University of Technology, where studies were completed from 2014 to 2020.
