Rik Houwers

Rik Houwers is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Nobleo Technology since June 2016, with a background in mechanical engineering from Delft University of Technology, where a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree were obtained. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineering Intern and Graduation Student at Laevo, and a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Human Power Team Delft, where contributions included measuring riders and designing recumbent seats. Notably, during participation in competitive cycling events, Rik achieved a distance of 79 km in one hour and reached a top speed of 132.3 km/h at the World Human Powered Speed Challenge in 2014. Additionally, involvement in university activities included serving as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the student cycling association WTOS Delft from 2008 to 2010.
