Jim Soltys

Jim Soltys has extensive work experience in the field of federal IT and telecommunications acquisitions. Jim started their career at the University of Virginia as a Research Assistant from August 1993 to July 1996. In July 1996, they joined Noblis as a Senior Manager and held this role until November 2022. During their time at Noblis, they also served as a Senior Fellow from June 2017 to November 2022, where they supported multiple federal programs and acquisitions worth over $30 billion for various federal agencies. Jim'smost recent position at Noblis was Vice President and Chief Solutions Architect - Federal Civilian Solutions, starting in October 2022. Overall, Jim Soltys has a broad range of experience in project management, acquisitions, and supporting federal IT and telecommunications initiatives.

Jim Soltys earned a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Mathematics and Operations Research at Clemson University from 1991 to 1993. In addition, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2011.
