Joan Shaw is an accomplished pharmaceutical executive with extensive expertise in clinical operations and project management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at Nocion Therapeutics, Inc., Joan leads a team focused on developing a novel molecule for chronic cough. Previously, Joan held senior leadership roles at Bellus Health, JR Shaw Consulting, Quotient Sciences, UBC, PAREXEL, and AstraZeneca, demonstrating a strong track record in managing large-scale clinical trials, integrating project management systems, and driving process improvements across organizations. Joan's educational background includes a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University and advanced degrees in Medical Technology and Clinical Chemistry.
