Richard Pottorff

Richard Pottorff has extensive experience as a firmware engineer, working in various companies across different industries. Richard began their career at Avago Technologies, where they served as a Senior Firmware and Senior Applications Engineer, designing and developing high-speed optical modules. Richard then joined S and C Electric, where they contributed to the development of a smart high powerline circuit breaker, creating software for communication and encryption purposes. After that, they worked at COMET Technologies USA, Inc., focusing on real-time RF matching networks and developing algorithms for waveform monitoring. Prior to their current role, Richard was an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Cisco, where they worked on firmware development. Richard also worked as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Accenture, supporting the development of the Oculus II VR goggles. Additionally, Richard worked as a Sr. Firmware Engineer at Cobham SeaTel, updating ship and ground-based satellite antenna tracking software. And prior to that, they worked at Noctrix Health, where they updated firmware for leg bands designed to alleviate restless leg syndrome. Currently, Richard is a Sr. Firmware Engineer at Thales Digital Identity and Security, where they are involved in providing high-security modules for the financial industry.

Richard Pottorff has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University. Richard also holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Santa Clara University.
