Narender Pulugu has worked in various roles related to robotics and software development. Narender is currently employed as a Robotics Developer at NODE Robotics since June 2022. Previously, they worked as a Master Thesis student at Fraunhofer IPA from December 2021 to May 2022. Narender also served as a Student Intern at NODE Robotics from August 2021 to November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Student Assistant at INB Vision AG from May 2021 to July 2021. Narender's earliest work experience was as a Student Research Assistant at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from December 2019 to May 2020. In this role, they developed software components for object modeling, enhanced object detection and segmentation methods, and evaluated the ROS framework. Narender achieved a 10 percent increase in the robustness of extraction methods and attained 95 percent robustness with a dataset of 110 household objects.
Narender Pulugu completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology between 2012 and 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree in Digital Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, Narender obtained certifications in Computer Vision Nano Degree from Udacity in April 2021 and State Estimation and Localization for Self-Driving Cars from Coursera in March 2021.
