Suresh Kannan

Suresh Kannan is an accomplished leader in the field of aerospace engineering with extensive experience in autonomy systems and robotics. Currently serving as CEO and Chief Scientist at NodeIn since May 2013, Suresh Kannan's work focuses on algorithms for certifiable robust autonomy, including formal and data-driven verification. Prior roles include serving as a Scientist at United Technologies Research Center, where Suresh Kannan led efforts in obstacle avoidance and path planning, and founding the Autonomous and Intelligent Robotics Laboratory. Suresh Kannan's earlier career includes positions as a research engineer at Georgia Institute of Technology, a senior research scientist at Guided Systems Technologies, and a visiting researcher at Rolls-Royce. Educational credentials include a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester.
