Heather Howell Wescott has been in the field of scientific research since 1999. Heather began their career as a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow at the National Cancer Center before becoming a Research Associate at The Institute for Genomic Research in 2000. Heather went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbial Pathogenesis and Immunology at Northwestern University in 2005. Following their graduation, they became a Scientist I at the Infectious Disease Research Institute in 2013. In their role as a Postdoctoral Scientist, they worked on developing novel treatments for tuberculosis. In 2019, they joined NodThera Limited as a Scientist.
Heather Howell Wescott attended Hood College from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a BA in Biochemistry. Heather then attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained an MS in Biotechnology. Lastly, they attended Northwestern University from 2005 to 2012, with no degree or field of study specified.
