José Gomes

José Gomes has a diverse work history spanning over two decades. José is currently working as the Portfolio Management, Pre-sales, and International Business Development Lead at Noesis since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Capacity Services & Nearshore at Novabase from September 2019 to January 2021. José also worked at Portugal Telecom, where they held various roles such as Head of IS & Workplace Pre-Sales, Responsible ICT Product Lifecycle Management, and Head of Partnerships & Strategic Alliances from 2014 to 2019. José briefly worked as the Head of Cloud Corporate Solutions Department at PT Cloud e Data Centers, S.A in 2014. Before that, they were a Senior Project and Program Manager at PT Sistemas de Informação, S.A. from 2011 to 2014. José started their career as a Research and Development Engineer at ISEL - Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa in 2005 and also worked as a Team Lead Manager at Accenture from 2007 to 2011. José began their professional journey at CaseEdinfor in 1998, where they served as the Business Unit Deputy Director, Senior ICT Consultant, and Business Developer until 2004.

José Gomes completed their postgraduate studies in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Licenciatura degree in Engenharia Eletrotécnica from ISEL - Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa, graduating between 2002 and 2006. Their earlier education includes attending Colégio Militar between 1982 and 1990, but it does not specify any degree or field of study. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained a certification in "Cyber and Disruptive Technologies: PESCO and EDF Projects Common Approach" from Direção Geral de Recursos da Defesa Nacional in 2022.
