Jake Schmidt is a Research Engineer at NOETIK. Prior to this role, Jake worked at Mercury Data Science as an ML engineering consultant and at Recursion as a Machine Learning Engineer. Jake has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business. Jake's experience includes designing fault-tolerant training pipelines, developing cloud-based model registries, and training embedding models for large-scale datasets. Jake has also worked on timeseries classification, anomaly detection, and bioacoustics projects during previous roles.
