Erlend Hestnes

Erlend Hestnes has a diverse work experience ranging from firmware development to hardware engineering. Erlend is currently working as a Firmware Developer at Nofence since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as an R&D Engineer Software at FLIR Systems from September 2020 to December 2022. From July 2016 to August 2020, they worked as an Application Engineer at Disruptive Technologies. Erlend also has experience as a Hardware Engineer at Staaker, where they were responsible for designing the PCB for the Tracker unit from January 2015 to July 2016. Additionally, they had roles as an R&D Engineer and Summer Intern at Nordic Semiconductor ASA from June 2015 to June 2016, and as a Tools Engineer and Summer Intern at Atmel Norway from June 2014 to May 2015. Erlend's earlier experiences include working as a Web Designer at the Centre for Sustainable Energy Studies from June 2012 to June 2014, and as a Lab Assistant in Circuit Analysis at NTNU from August 2013 to December 2013.

Erlend Hestnes pursued their education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2011 to 2016. During this time, they successfully obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
