Richard Clarke is the Chairman of Good Harbor Security Risk Management, a consulting firm that works with senior corporate executives to assess and develop strategic cybersecurity programs that mitigate organizational risk in the face of advanced cyber threats. He is the author of Cyber War: The Next Threat to National Security and What to Do About It. Mr. Clarke served as Special Advisor to Presidents Clinton and Bush (43) on Cybersecurity. Prior to that he was the White House’s National Coordinator for Security, Counter-terrorism, and Critical Infrastructure. Mr. Clarke served in national security positions in seven administrations, in the Pentagon, the State Department, the Intelligence Community, and an unprecedented ten consecutive years in the White House serving three Presidents. Since leaving government, he has published five books (including the national #1 best seller, Against All Enemies: Inside America’s War on Terror), taught for five years at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and serves as an on-air consultant for ABC News.
