Rune Hegrestad

Rune Hegrestad serves as the CEO of Nokas Cash Handling Group since June 2021, after holding the position of COO Business Services at AVARN Security Group from June 2020 to December 2021, which was formerly part of Nokas Group. Prior to that, Rune Hegrestad spent four years at Nokas AS as Executive Vice President & COO Business Services and Executive Vice President & CIO, overseeing the IT organization and implementing the IT strategy. Between August 2006 and July 2016, responsibilities included Group Director IT & Communication at Mowi ASA, where Rune Hegrestad managed the global IT organization. Earlier career roles included Senior Vice President Shared Services and Vice President Information Systems at Kverneland ASA, with a focus on developing global shared services and IT strategies. Rune Hegrestad's career began at Kværner Oil & Gas, where various management roles were undertaken in infrastructure and operations, as well as engineering management.
