John Kolakowski

John Kolakowski is currently the Director of Licensing and Head of IP Regulatory Affairs for North America at Nokia Technologies. With 14 years of in-house telecommunications patent licensing and litigation experience at Nokia, along with 10 years in private practice at Morrison & Foerster LLP, John has navigated complex patent issues successfully. They have negotiated significant patent licenses and represented Nokia's interests before various regulatory authorities and organizations. John also serves on advisory boards for multiple intellectual property policy institutes and holds a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
