Lizette Velazquez

Lizette Velazquez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and cloud analytics, currently serving as Solution Validation & Best Practices Lead at Nokia, where tenure began in January 1995. Previous roles at Nokia include leadership positions in various transformation centers and senior management in mobility R&D and software construction. Lizette also contributes to the National Science Foundation as a member of the Advisory Committee on Business Innovation & Technology Transfer and has provided consulting services to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Earlier career highlights include engineering and development roles at AT&T and academic positions in computer science at the University of Iowa and the University of The Sacred Heart. Lizette holds a PhD in Computer Sciences from the University of Iowa, an MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS from the Universidad de Puerto Rico.
