Vesa Kohtamaki

Vesa Kohtamaki has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily with Nokia since 1988, progressing through various leadership roles. Currently, Vesa serves as the Head of the Technology Center in Espoo, facilitating the success of global business teams and promoting employee growth and well-being. Previously, Vesa held positions such as Head of Single RAN Business Line Transformation, focusing on productivity improvements and the integration of Alcatel Lucent, and Head of the Hangzhou Technology Center, overseeing professional management and innovation benchmarks. Vesa's earlier roles included Lead Solution Manager and Head of Product Management for the Gateway Business Line, ensuring competitiveness in multimedia and mobile voice services. Prior to the Nokia Networks segment, Vesa served as General Manager of Communication Core Networks System Development, achieving significant product milestones. Vesa holds an education from Riihimäen Teknillinen Opisto, completed in 1985.
