Ismo Hieta

Ismo Hieta is an experienced professional in automation and electrical engineering, currently serving as Automation Manager and Chief Designer at Nokian Tyres plc since July 2000, where responsibilities include software and system development for production automation systems and integrations to ERP, as well as data collection (MES) and SCADA systems. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Nokia Networks, focusing on software development for various environments, and positions in electrical design and automation with companies such as Tamglass Engineering Ltd. Oy and Partek Concrete Engineering Ltd. Ismo Hieta holds a Master’s Degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Tampere University of Technology and an Engineer's Degree from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, in addition to a Bachelor's Degree in Automation Technology from Tampereen Teknillinen Oppilaitos.
