Leena Kaipainen

Leena Kaipainen has over four decades of work experience in various finance and treasury roles. Leena started their career in 1980 as the Manager of Treasury at the Savings Bank of Tampere. From 1992 to 1993, they worked as the Vice President of Money and Capital Markets at the Savings Bank of Finland, where they established treasury activities and managed FX transactions and funding. From 1994 to 1999, they served as the Financial Manager at Asset Management Company Arsenal Plc, where they were responsible for the funding team and invented a new financial instrument. From 2000 to 2002, they worked at Jive Solutions as the Controller and Deputy Managing Director, providing finance services and translating customer business needs. Leena then joined the State Treasury in 2004 as a Project Manager, where they played a crucial role in defining the Government Shared Service Center concept. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Group Treasurer at Nokian Tyres plc, where they oversee centralized group treasury functions and is responsible for funding, liquidity management, FX transactions, and financial risk management.

Leena Kaipainen obtained their Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tampere from 1989 to 2006.
