Mika Penttilä

Mika Penttilä has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Mika is currently serving as the Head of Digital Technology at Nokian Tyres plc since February 2019. Prior to this role, they were the Head of IoT at Danfoss Drives from September 2015 to January 2019, where they were responsible for the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Internet of Things. Before joining Danfoss Drives, Mika held the position of CIO at Vacon Plc, where they created a centralized IT organization and provided uniform IT services globally. Mika also worked as a Project Manager at Visiprise Inc and as an Application Specialist at Nokia. Mika began their career as a Software Analyst at CCC. Overall, Mika has demonstrated expertise in digital technology and IoT, as well as in managing IT infrastructure and business applications.

Mika Penttilä obtained their M.Sc. (Eng.) degree from the University of Oulu between 1993 and 2000. In addition, they attended Reserve Officers School from 1992 to 1993.
