Borja Sanz

Regional Head Asia at NOMAC

Borja Sanz is an experienced leader in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Regional Head Asia and Plant General Manager at NOMAC since April 2018. Previously, Borja was the Plant Manager at Shams Power Company from June 2016 to March 2018, overseeing the Shams-1 solar power plant, a significant 100 MW CSP asset with a multicultural team. Prior to that, Borja held various roles at Abengoa Solar from 2006 to 2016, including Plant Manager, O&M Manager, General Manager of TASEOM, and Engineering Manager, with a focus on optimizing solar power plants. Earlier in the career, Borja worked as an Advisor for CZ Dispensing, contributing to strategic planning and facility management. Educational qualifications include a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School and a degree in Industrial Management Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla.
