Lucas Randazzo is a Software Engineer at Nomadic Labs since February 2020, focusing on the gas for the Tezos protocol and developing "Orgeat," a Boltzmann sampler generator. Prior to this role, Lucas was a PhD Student at Université Paris-Est from September 2016 to September 2019, specializing in enumerative combinatorics under the supervision of Jean-Yves Thibon and Matthieu Josuat-Vergès. Lucas also gained experience as a Chercheur stagiaire at the Royal Institute of Technology, working on hyperbolic polynomials and the Kadison-Singer theorem. Lucas's education includes a Doctorate in Computer Science and Combinatorics from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, as well as multiple degrees in Informatics and Mathematics from ENS Paris-Saclay.
