Esa Riihinen

Esa Riihinen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Esa'smost recent role is as a Lead Frontend Developer at Nomentia since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Gofore as a Senior Software Developer from January 2021 to July 2021. Esa also had a significant tenure at Geniem where they held multiple roles. Esa started as a Senior full-stack developer from January 2015 to October 2016 and later became a Software Consultant (frontend) from October 2016 to December 2020. Before Geniem, Esa worked as a Technical Lead at Bearit Oy from February 2014 to January 2015. Esa also served as an R&D Manager / SW developer at Innolion Oy from June 2012 to October 2013. Esa took a sabbatical year and participated in start-up training while evaluating their own business ideas from September 2011 to June 2012. Esa'searly career includes various roles at Nokia, where they worked from 1996 to 2011 in positions such as Senior Requirement Manager, Product Management, System Design Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, SW developer/team lead, and Graduate Trainee. Overall, Esa Riihinen has extensive experience in software development, project management, and technical leadership.

Esa Riihinen received their M.Sc. degree in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology in the years 1992-1999. Esa also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in September 2020.
