Carlos Calvo Astúa

Carlos Calvo Astúa has several years of experience in the field of networking and IT support. Carlos currently works as a Senior Network Engineer at Nomios since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Concentrix from April 2017 to June 2021, where they held the role of Juniper Networks Advanced TAC, Level 3. From June 2014 to April 2017, Carlos worked at Convergys as a Juniper Networks Senior Networking Engineer/Trainer. Carlos also held a role as a Networking Tech Level IV (local IT) from June 2012 to June 2014 at the same company. Carlos's work experience in the field began in 2008 at Stream Global Services, where they held various roles, including Computer Services (IT) from January 2010 to October 2012, Service Desk Analyst from June 2009 to January 2010, and Ops Planning Rep from February 2008 to June 2009.

Carlos Calvo Astúa obtained their bachelor's degree in medical imaging, specializing in nuclear medicine and radiation therapy, from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Juniper Networks, including JNCIE-ENT in May 2017, JNCIP-ENT in November 2014, JNCIP-DC in December 2020, and JNCSP-ENT in August 2015.
