Erik Jan Pluimers

Erik Jan Pluimers has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as an intern at Argeweb Managed Services. In 2012, they worked as a Trainee System Engineer at B&S BV. Then, in 2013, they joined OGD ict-diensten as an OGD'er and Nederlands Loodswezen as a Support/System Engineer. From 2014 onwards, they joined Nomios, where they held two roles, starting as a Support Engineer and later becoming a Network Security Engineer.

Erik Jan Pluimers completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 2006 to 2012. Prior to that, they received vocational education in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from ROC Mondriaan, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Erik Jan Pluimers has obtained several certifications, including Basisveiligheid VCA from VCA Structural in January 2020, Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer from Ekahau in March 2017, CWNA® - Certified Wireless Network Administrator from CWNP in November 2018, Certified Wireless Analysis Professional (CWAP) from CWNP, which they plan to obtain in January 2023, Enterprise Routing and Switching, Specialist (JNCIS-ENT), which they obtained from Juniper Networks in March 2022, Mist AI, Specialist (JNCIS-MistAI) from Juniper Networks in November 2020, and Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) from CWNP in September 2020.
