Miroslaw Szymczak

Miroslaw Szymczak has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Miroslaw began their career in 1993 as the head of office in Warsaw for Cadena Systems, where they were responsible for setting up a local office and providing technical support. Miroslaw then moved on to become the co-owner and manager of Advacom, a network integrator, where they managed a team and focused on SMB and mid-market customers.

In 1998, Miroslaw joined Cisco and held various roles over a period of 15 years. Miroslaw started as a System Engineer and gradually rose to become the Channel System Engineering Manager for the CEE region. In their roles at Cisco, they developed and implemented channel coverage strategies, collaborated with Vertical Sales Managers to address market needs, and worked with key partner C-level to execute strategic plans. Miroslaw also provided technical direction and business guidance to the Channel regional sales team and Partner Community.

After leaving Cisco, Miroslaw worked as a Channel Sales Manager Eastern Europe at FireEye in 2013. Miroslaw then joined Microsoft in the same year and held the positions of Senior Partner Sales Executive and STU Sales Manager. In these roles, they played a key role in partner sales process and demand generation activities, as well as partner education and certification strategies.

In more recent years, Miroslaw has worked as a freelance cloud consultant at cloudm.pl and Trecom. Miroslaw also held the position of Business Partner at Alterdata.io and currently serves as the Business Development Manager at Nomios, where they continue to leverage their expertise in sales and business development.

Miroslaw Szymczak obtained a MSc degree in Electronics, Automation and Robotics from Warsaw University of Technology, where they studied from 1989 to 1995. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in August 2019.
