Kairat Akhmetov has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Kairat began their career in 2003 as a Project Manager at Rambler Ferra.ru. In 2006, they became CEO of Open Technologies Group, a holding company for Korkem Telecom, Sergek Development, Korkem Technologies, and Zerek RoadTech. In 2015, they became Technical Co-Founder of Nommi, a 4G hotspot with unlimited wi-fi worldwide. In 2016, they became CEO of Sergek Development, a leading safe traffic management platform that helps cities to make roads safe and enables intelligent urban planning. In 2018, they became Technical Co-Founder of Parqour (prev. Smart Parking Technologies).
Kairat Akhmetov attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in DGAP 025 (Management Informations Systems).
