Steve McGregor has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Steve currently holds the position of Head of Service Delivery and QA at Nomo Fintech since August 2021.
Prior to that, Steve worked at Allica Bank as the Head of Application Engineering from October 2019 to May 2021. During their tenure, they successfully established an in-house software engineering function, implemented agile adoption and delivery, and led the implementation of mobile app development in flutter technology.
Before joining Allica Bank, Steve had a role at ISBAN as the IT Mobile Lead - Channels from February 2017 to October 2019. Steve was responsible for the IT delivery, engineering, and design practices of Retail Mobile Banking iOS and Android Applications, aiming to improve the Santander Mobile Banking Experience.
Steve also worked at IsbanUK, starting in December 2011. Steve held multiple roles at the company, including IT Mobile Lead - Solutioning from April 2014 to February 2017, in which they managed the design, development, integration, test, and deployment for a special complimentary Santander product. Additionally, they served as the IT Delivery Manager - Mobile Banking from December 2011 to April 2014, coordinating the deliveries of Mobile Banking Applications.
Between October 2010 and December 2011, Steve worked as an IT Delivery Manager at Isban UK, responsible for coordinating all Multi Channel IT Deliveries. Earlier, from October 2008 to October 2010, they served as the Contact Centre IT Delivery Manager, focusing on the IT delivery of contact center-related requirements for the UK.
In 2008, Steve had a brief stint as a Project Manager at VocaLink, where they worked on a project within the Euro Services program, delivering consolidation of reference data and tools to support data maintenance.
Additionally, they worked at Isban UK as a Project Manager\\Technical Expert from October 2007 to April 2008, and at Abbey from August 2005 to September 2007 as a Project Manager and held various development roles, including IT Consultant and Applications Developer, from September 1994 to July 2005.
Steve McGregor attended St Kentigerns Academy from 1988 to 1992, where they completed their Higher degree in Art & Design & Technical Drawing. During their time at St Kentigerns Academy, from 1988 to 1991, they also obtained a Standard degree in various subjects including Art & Design, Craft & Design, English, Geography, Mathematics, and Science. Additionally, Steve attended St Kentigerns Academy from 1988 to 1991 and received an O-Grade in Technical Drawing. Following their secondary education, Steve McGregor enrolled at Edinburgh Napier University from 1992 to 1994, earning an HND degree in Software Engineering.
