Stein Vegusdal has a long and varied work experience. Stein began their career in 1991 as a Web Journalist, Project Worker, and Editor for VG - Verdens Gang AS. Stein then moved to Scandinavia Online in 1997 as a Journalist, Channel Manager, and Editor. In 2001, they joined Sony Music Entertainment as a Digital Business Manager and Head of Digital. From 2013 to 2015, they worked for IKEA Group as a Web and Digital Manager, responsible for all digital activities in paid, owned, and earned media. Stein then moved to Microsoft in 2015, taking on roles such as Social Marketing & Performance Lead for Western Europe, Social Marketing Lead for Western Europe, and Senior Marketing Communications Manager. In 2020, they joined Airthings as Head of Digital Marketing and Performance Marketing Lead. Currently, they are the Head of Marketing at Nomono.
Stein Vegusdal completed their education at Nesbru videregående skole from 1986 to 1989. Prior to this, they obtained their Able Seaman degree from Christian Radich in 1985, specializing in Marine Science/Merchant Marine Officer. Stein has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Lynda.com since 2016, including Learning Web Analytics (2019), B2B Marketing Foundations (2018), Leading a Marketing Team (2018), and Marketing Foundations: Influencer Marketing (2018).
