Conor Brennan

Conor Brennan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk IT and financial engineering. Currently serving as a Managing Director at Nomura since January 2011, Conor has held several key roles, including EMEA Head of Credit IT and Global Head of Rates Real Time Risk & PnL. Prior to Nomura, Conor worked at Deutsche Bank as Director of Risk IT and contributed to Citadel Investment Group by designing a new risk system in Python while serving as a Financial Engineer. Conor's career began at Lehman, where as Executive Director, Conor managed the Credit Analytics Group and developed a distributed risk and pricing system for structured credit. Conor's early roles include serving as an Equity Derivatives Quantitative Analyst at ING Barings and a Systems Analyst at Abbey National Baring Derivatives. Conor holds an MSc in Applied Industrial Mathematics from Dublin City University and a BSc in Mathematics with Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University.
