Heng Yeng Tan is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist for Asia ex-Japan at Nomura, a position held since July 2022. Previously served as an Assistant Manager at the National Gallery Singapore from July 2018 to July 2022, after being selected as an Arts for Good Fellow at the Singapore International Foundation in late 2019. Heng Yeng Tan also gained experience as a Residential College Advisor at Yale-NUS College, where extensive training in group facilitation, conflict resolution, and crisis management was undertaken while mentoring first-year students. Additional experience includes a Curatorial Internship at Oak Spring Garden Foundation and various roles at the National Gallery Singapore. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Cum Laude in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Yale-NUS College and participation in an International Honours Programme in Human Rights at the School for International Training.
