Masahiko Maekawa

Masahiko Maekawa is the head of merchant banking at Nomura. Masahiko has held this position since November 2013. Prior to that, they were a project manager at Nomura Research Institute from February 2008 to November 2013. Before that, they were an application engineer at Nomura Research Institute from April 2001 to January 2008.

After completing their high school education at Waseda University Senior High School, Masahiko Maekawa went on to study mechanical engineering at Waseda University. Masahiko then went on to complete a master's degree in mechanical engineering at the same school.

Masahiko Maekawa reports to Kentaro Okuda, President & Group CEO. They are on a team with Toru Otsuka - Chief Strategy Officer, Sotaro Kato - CRO, and Steven Ashley - Head of Wholesale.
