Satoshi Arai

Satoshi Arai is the current head of retail at Nomura. Prior to this, they worked at Credit Suisse Securities (Japan) Limited from March 2016 to December 2018, where they were a director in the private banking sector. During their time there, they were responsible for the setting up of Credit Suisse Trust Japan Company, as well as the promotion and operation of the strategic client development project. Satoshi also worked at Trust and Custody Services Bank Limited from September 2004 to February 2016, where they were a manager in charge of various departments including international custody operations, accounting, and business promotion. During their time there, they were responsible for the development of corporate action management systems, EUC tools, and business policy and procedure manuals. Satoshi also supported the business promotion department with their customer relationship management of corporate action related services.

Satoshi Arai studied economics and education at Aoyama Gakuin University.

Their manager is Kentaro Okuda, President & Group CEO. They are on a team with Junko Nakagawa - Head of Asset Management, Toru Otsuka - Chief Strategy Officer, and Tomoyuki Teraguchi - Chief of Staff & CCO.
