Simon Yates

Simon Yates is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity derivatives. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director at Nomura since August 2021, Yates previously held the title of Managing Director. Prior roles include Consultant at Two Sigma for a brief period in 2020 and CEO of Two Sigma Securities from September 2014 to April 2020. Simon Yates also served as Global Head of Equity Derivatives at Citi from June 2010 to September 2014 and held similar leadership roles at Credit Suisse from October 1997 to June 2010. Yates began a career in equity derivatives at J.P. Morgan, where employment spanned from October 1992 to October 1997. An alumnus of the University of Cambridge, Yates earned a Master of Arts in Mathematics in 1995 following a Bachelor of Arts in the same field completed in 1992.
