Robert Hastings is a Principal Research and Development Bioinformatician at Nonacus since September 2021. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Bioinformatician at the University of Leicester from July 2008 to September 2021, where Robert also served as a CRUK Leicester Centre Bioinformatician. Robert's expertise lies in providing bioinformatics and biobanking support to cancer research groups within the Cancer Centre, with a focus on projects such as NGS analysis of various cancer types and designing predictive signatures for clinical trials. Robert has a strong educational background, holding a PhD in Genetics, an MSc in Bioinformatics, and a BSc in Biomolecular Science.
