Raul Carvalho

Raul Carvalho began their career in 1997 as a Researcher at Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica - ISR PORTO. In 1999, they became a Software Engineer at INESC Porto, followed by a Project Support role at PT Sistemas de Informação, S.A. in 2000. In 2001, they joined Altran as a Consultant, and in 2007 they became Software & IT Consulting Director at Nonius. In this role, they manage a team of individuals who develop Nonius’ technologies and works closely with other departments to create successful products. Raul is also responsible for all IT infrastructure at Nonius, including regional offices around the globe.

Raul Carvalho began their educational journey in 1992 when they enrolled at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Electronics. Five years later, in 1997, they graduated and continued their studies at the same institution to obtain a Licentiate degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, which they received in 1999.
