Hyunseok Seo has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Certified Income Tax Preparer at VITA 2010 (IRS) and VITA 2011 (IRS). They then served as a Consultant (Volunteer for Course Project) at East 86th Street Association (Non-Profit Organization). In 2012, they returned to VITA 2011 (IRS) as a Certified Income Tax Preparer. From 2012 to 2021, Seo worked at WITNESS, where they held various roles including Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Senior Accountant (Associate Director role in absence of Associate Director of Finance & Operations), and Finance Coordinator.
In 2021, Seo joined PEN America as an Associate Controller. Later in the same year, they transitioned to Nonprofit Finance Fund, first as an Associate Director of Finance and Accounting and then as the Director of Finance and Accounting, currently holding this position.
Hyunseok Seo pursued their education at Baruch College from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance. Following this, they attended Hunter College from 2010 to 2012 to pursue a Master's degree in Accounting.
