Celeste Barker Bright, Ph.D. has a diverse background in writing and editing roles. Celeste started their career as an Instructor of English Composition at The Catholic University of America from 2004 to 2008. Later, they worked as a Managing Editor for Arts and Literature Journals at Heldref Publications in 2008-2009. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Managing Editor of The Newman Studies Journal at The National Institute for Newman Studies. Celeste then joined Study.com in 2016 and held positions as an Academic Expert and a Literature Lesson Writer until 2018. In 2020, they began volunteering as a Development Assistant at The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon and as a Content Writer and Editor, as well as a Content Curator at 1HOUR.
