Tamily Cookson

Tamily Cookson is a seasoned professional in economic development and event management, currently serving as a Senior Economic Development Consultant at Nottingham Trent University since June 2023, where Tamily conducts interviews with Creative and Digital businesses to support an industry study. As a Trustee at Nonsuch Studios, Tamily contributes to Nottingham's independent theatre and arts initiatives. Previously, Tamily held the position of Interim CEO and Programme and Events Manager at The Creative Quarter Company Nottingham, successfully managing business incubation spaces and supporting over 2000 entrepreneurs through a significant grant funding programme. Tamily has extensive experience in event management, having developed and produced high-quality events for various organizations, including CARE Fertility and Nottingham Contemporary, and has a strong educational background with a BA (Hons) in Tourism & Leisure Management from the University of Gloucestershire.
