Hillary Joyce

Director of Development & Communications at Nonviolence Institute

Hillary Joyce, MFA, is an experienced professional in development, communications, and education, currently serving as the Director of Development and Communications at the Nonviolence Institute since June 2022. Hillary is also the owner of Hillary Annelle Designs, a position held since March 2016. Prior to these roles, Hillary was an Assistant Librarian at Brownell Library from January 2019 to June 2022, and Director of Development at Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts, where a successful Camp SPARK program was designed for high school girls. Past experience includes adjunct instructor roles at Bristol Community College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and New York University. As Director of Major and Planned Giving at United Way of Rhode Island, significant annual contributions of $5 million were generated. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wells College.
