Nonviolent Peaceforce
Darren Clark is an experienced professional in the fields of peacebuilding and protection, currently serving as Senior Programme Manager and Deputy Head of Mission at Nonviolent Peaceforce Sudan since June 2018. Additionally, Darren holds the role of Team Leader for the Bentiu response and serves as an International Protection Officer. Since September 2020, Darren has been working as a Protection Advisor at Nonviolent Peaceforce South Sudan. Prior to this, Darren has contributed as a Consultant Trainer for VSO UK since November 2016 and held leadership positions in Malawi as Campaign Manager and CEO at Positivo from February 2013 to March 2016, as well as President and Campaign Manager at Association Positivo from May 2007 to November 2012, focusing on innovative public health messaging strategies. Darren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Third World Studies with Studies in Race and Culture from Middlesex University, earned between 1994 and 1997.
