Derek Runge

Regional Director Of Operations at Noodles & Company

Derek Runge has extensive work experience in the restaurant industry. Derek started their career as an Assistant Manager at Callahans Bar and grill in 1997 and later became the General Manager at Gulliver's Grill and Bar in 2000. In 2008, they joined Noodles & Company as a Training General Manager and worked their way up to the position of Area Manager. Currently, they hold the role of Regional Director of Operations at Noodles & Company.

Derek Runge started their education in 1994 at Campbellsport High School, where they studied General Education and completed their General Studies degree in 1997. Following that, from 1998 to 2001, they enrolled at Moraine Park Technical College, specializing in Culinary Arts. Derek completed their degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training during this time. In addition to their formal education, Derek obtained a certification in ServSafe from the National Restaurant Association in February 2013.
