Erin Owen, PhD, MPH, serves as the Head of Clinical Research at Noom since August 2025, previously holding the position of Vice President, Clinical Research & Digital Health at mend™ from May 2019 to July 2025, where leadership focused on digital care delivery program design and pioneering a sponsored research program for nutritional products. At the Slocum Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, from June 2013 to February 2023, Erin served as Executive Director of Clinical & Community-Based Research, significantly expanding clinical research capabilities and producing numerous publications. Additional experience includes strategic roles in health policy research and consulting, clinical study coordination, and health education instruction. Educational achievements include a PhD in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy from Oregon State University, an MPH in Epidemiology from San Diego State University, and a BS in Health Sciences from Linfield University.
