Sandra Velasquez

Sandra Velasquez is the founder of Nopalera, a company that offers a bath and body collection inspired by Mexico's Nopal cactus, established in November 2020. Velasquez has gained recognition through participation in the Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Lab Accelerator and as a winner of the Fearless Fund / Tory Burch Foundation Grant in 2023. Notably, Velasquez appeared on Shark Tank Season 14. In 2022, Velasquez was honored as the first Latina to win 'Latino Start Up Of The Year' at the L'Attitude Conference and was involved in the Clean Beauty Summer School. Earlier experience includes roles at Tower 28 Beauty, Beauty Independent & True Beauty Ventures Bridge Mentorship Program, and various positions in sales management at companies such as Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream and HiBAR. Velasquez holds a degree from New York University.
