Orla McSharry

Orla McSharry is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Strategic Regulation and Improvement at NOPSEMA since November 2021, following a role as Regulatory Specialist for Safety and Integrity in Vessel Facilities. Prior experience includes QHSE Manager positions at Allseas and McDermott International Inc., as well as various roles such as QHSE Advisor and HSE Marine Consultant at URS Australia Pty Ltd and QA-HSE Project Manager at DEME Environmental Contractors DECnv. Orla's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Business from Curtin University, a Master of Science in Risk and Reliability Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety Control from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
