Adrian Philip

Adrian Philip is an experienced professional in automation and controls, currently serving as the CAPEX Manager at West Fraser since October 2023. Previously, Adrian held the position of Engineer at Norbord from May 2017 to the present and worked as a Process Control & Automation Engineer at Cogent Industrial Technologies from August 2015 to May 2017. Initial career experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Intern role at Verathon Inc., where contributions focused on surgical device design, testing, and production, and an Instrumentation Engineering Intern position at STEMCELL Technologies, involved in testing and designing components for robotic systems. An early role as a Technical Assistant at Surrey Fluid Power included designing hydraulic system components and hands-on assembly work. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Simon Fraser University, completed between 2012 and 2015.
