James Minshall has significant maritime experience, currently serving as Ship Manager and Ship Buyer at Norbulk Shipping UK Ltd since January 2014. Prior to this role, James held the position of Deck Officer Trainee at Zodiac Maritime from January 2011 to October 2013, focusing on bridge watchkeeping, navigational training, and cargo operations. Additionally, James has extensive sailing instruction experience, having taught at Loch Insh Outdoor Centre and Tighnabruaich Sailing School Limited, where qualifications include Sailing Scheme Levels 1 to 3 and various youth sailing stages. Early experience includes working as a restaurant server at the Michelin Star awarded Kilberry Inn. James completed education at City of Glasgow College from 2011 to 2013 and attended Tarbert Academy from 1997 to 2010.
