Gard Jenssen

Gard Jenssen is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability, smart cities, and digital strategy. Currently serving as a Fagspesialist and FoU-koordinator at Norconsult AS since February 2023, Gard has significant expertise gained through various roles, including owner and chairman of Ignitas, which focuses on investment in start-ups and digital strategy for corporations. Over the years, Gard has contributed as an evaluator for research proposals for the European Commission and the Norwegian Research Council. Past leadership roles include managing the Smart Fredrikstad Programme and serving as a partner in Smart Cities Norway, alongside advisory capacities in different organizations. Gard holds a Cand. Mag. degree in Media Science and Languages from the University of Oslo.
