Henri Nieminen

Henri Nieminen has a diverse range of software development experience. Henri started their career as a Freelance Web Developer at Muuttuja in 2012. In 2015, they joined the University of Jyväskylä as a Software Developer, where they worked on the development and maintenance of a Django-based Sign Language database. Henri also completed a full-time internship at the Sign Language Centre, where they developed a sign language database for research purposes and an API.

In 2017, Henri joined the Kuurojen Liitto - Finnish Association of the Deaf as a Software Developer. Here, they contributed to software development projects.

In 2018, Henri joined Nordcloud, an IBM Company, as a Software Developer & Squad Lead. Henri worked on cloud native serverless applications, utilizing technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python.

Additionally, in the same year, Henri worked part-time at the University of Jyväskylä as a Software Developer, where they maintained two applications, Finnish Signbank and Viittomatesti.

Overall, Henri Nieminen has gained valuable experience in software development, working on various projects and utilizing multiple programming languages and frameworks.

Henri Nieminen completed their education at the University of Jyväskylä. From 2011 to 2015, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Information Systems Science. Following that, from 2015 to 2018, they pursued a Master's Degree in Economics and Information Systems Science from the same university. In September 2022, they also obtained a certification as a Professional SCRUM Master 1 from Scrum.org.
